What is Bloom on Beeswax Wraps?

Bloom is a natural phenomenon that occurs with high-quality, 100% pure beeswax products like Abeego wraps. If you've noticed a soft texture or a light powdery coating on your wrap, you’re seeing bloom. This whitish cast appears when the softer oils in the beeswax rise to the surface, and this mostly happens if you’ve been storing brand new wraps for a long time. 

Why is Bloom Normal?

Bloom is a sign of quality, indicating that your Abeego wraps are made with pure beeswax. Similar to how chocolate can develop a chalky coating, bloom is completely normal.

What Should I Do With Wraps that Have Bloom?

If you find that your Abeego wraps feel a bit softer or are not sticking as well as they used to, don’t worry! Here’s how to easily manage bloom:

1. Wash your wraps in cold water 
2. Place your wrap on a clean flat surface.
3. Grab a lint-free cloth and give your wrap a vigorous buff.
