Rethinking Abeego’s Future: There’s No Shame in Changing Your Mind

Rethinking Abeego’s Future: There’s No Shame in Changing Your Mind

As I navigate what’s been the biggest transition in my life to date, my mantra is:

“There’s no shame in changing your mind.”

“There’s no shame in changing your mind.”

“There’s no shame in changing your mind.”

In the 108 days since I announced the closure of Abeego, everything’s changed. Despite new insights and faint glimmers of hope, I’ve kept marching toward the inevitable: either selling Abeego if luck found me or shutting it down if it didn’t.

This process pushed me to optimize, systemize—squeeze every drop of value for whoever would take the reins. I did the deep work, uncovered the core issues, and realized there might still be a gem in Abeego worth rebuilding.

And yet, I kept marching forward. Why? Why push toward an exit when I’d found new reasons to reconsider?

Shame. I was too ashamed to say I’d changed my mind. Afraid I’d look foolish or worse—a flip-flopping fraud.

Then, after too many conversations to count, it hit me: I can change my mind. I can take in new data, scan the horizon, and shift direction without apology.

Am I sure whether Abeego lives on or not? No. But I’ve decided I can’t give up just yet.

Despite knowing that deep discounts can’t sustain us long term, you’ll see another round of 50% off sales for Black Friday. Why? Because the data tells me it works, and right now, I need to swim with the current—I’m not quite strong enough to fight the tide.

Abeego has always been a gem. Now that the dust has settled, maybe it still can be. Take advantage of our 50% off sale, and help us decide the future of Abeego.

Thank you for sticking with me. Let’s see where this journey takes us.
