- beeswax wraps
- variety pack
- plastic wrap
I can not believe these things. I cut up three romaine hearts and put them in a big plastic mixing bowl. I cover with the Abeego wrap, leave it in the fridge and the lettuce is staying good (like really good, I am picky) for like 7-10 days. Normally when I leave it in the bag or put the lid on the container it’s soggy/gross after a couple days. These things are legit. Christmas presents for everyone!
No romaine wasted in your house - we call that a victory! Thank you for introducing Abeego to you kitchen, Daniel!
I really like this product. It works as advertised. I've wrapped half an onion and there isn't any smell, I've used it for a block of cheese, veg and several other items and everything stayed fresh. And, an added bonus is that they make the drawer they're stored in smell lovely. I'm so glad to be able to get rid of the plastic wrap!
We are so glad to hear that Abeego has been a good fit for your kitchen. No food wasted in your house - you're a kitchen hero!
I purchased a variety pack of beeswax wraps just over two months ago and absolutely love them. Our family has been trying to get away from single use plastics for awhile now and I have been looking for something to take it's place and the abeego wraps were the first plastic-alternate I've tried, and I will never buy plastic wrap again! I would say our family is environmentally conscious and these wraps are such a fantastic option for storing food and snacks. I will be looking at purchasing the champion pack now that I know how awesome these wraps are. I encourage anyone to give them a try you won't be sorry. Thank you for making a wonderful product that you can feel good about using! I rated this a 4 instead of a 5 only because I've only been using them a short while and need to see how they hold up. The wraps are cleaned only with natural biodegradable soap like the instructions say, so we will see how they hold up. :)
Thank you for the kind words, Kristan! We are thrilled that Abeego has found a good home in your kitchen. Who needs plastic wrap when you have Abeego?! :) Keeping food alive, one wrap at a time.
My only complaint would be
My only complaint would be that the wax starts to almost lose it's adhesiveness with use, just wish they were longer lasting! Other than that I love them.
We are sorry to hear that your wrap's adhesiveness is wearing out. We recommend washing your wraps in cold water with a biodegradable soap to keep your wraps in their best shape. Washing in warm or hot water will have an impact on the wax coating. With regular use, your wraps will typically last a year or longer. Because Abeego is self-adhesive, it will always stick to itself rather than the foods you're storing or bowls you're covering. Using the weight and warmth of your hands will help it adhere to itself. Please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any other questions about your wraps or how to save food with them.
Very pleased with the wraps.
Very pleased with the wraps. I am still using my original wraps from 2014. Great for keeping sourdough bread fresh for weeks and cheeses too. Highly recommend this product and am phasing plastic film out altogether. Still trying to rid a huge roll from Costco bought in 2007!:smirk:
Fresh bread for weeks? We call that a victory! Thanks for sharing!
