As you may recall, we don't do sales or discounts at Abeego. We believe in consistent pricing for products that make the world a better place. Black Friday is no different. This year, we're giving back to an organization with a dream to transform food deserts into food forests and spread edible gardens, one city at a time.

Until Nov 30, 2020 at 11:59pm PST, 30% of all Abeego sales will be donated to The Ron Finley Project

Abeego Founder, Toni Desrosiers, sat down with Ron to chat about all things food, gardening, community and more. Catch the full interview here

WHAT IS THE RON FINLEY PROJECT?

"Most widely known as the “Gangsta Gardener”, Ron Finley inadvertently started a horti-Cultural revolution when he transformed the barren parkway in front of his South Central L.A. home into an edible oasis. Ron unexpectedly became one of L.A.’s most widely known activists.

Ron is planning to build an urban garden in South Central LA that will serve as an example of a well-balanced, fruit-and-veggie oasis  called “HQ”. HQ will create a myriad of jobs for local residents, and this plot of land will be a self-sufficient ecosystem of gardening, education, cooking, business learning and management. The community will get their hands dirty together, shovel together, work together and be healthy together." -The Ron Finley Project

At Abeego, our mission is to Keep Food Alive and forge a deeper sense of unity with food & each other. When we learned about Ron's vision to have "communities embrace the act of growing, knowing and sharing the best of the earth’s fresh-grown food", we were filled with a bounty of inspiration and admiration.
